Reply:Yepper,I hear Lincoln is getting ready to introduce a new machine.Mig (mig and pulsed mig)Tig (AC/DC with HF starts)Stick (both AC & DC)Will also hava a built in Plasma CutterOne option will be a mounted tungsten grinder.Oh and BTW.  The unit will operate off a six pack of D cell batteries.Lincoln is supposedly working on this as a joint effort with Neverlast.Syncro 250 DX Dynasty 200 DXMM 251 w/30A SG XMT 304 w/714 Feeder & Optima PulserHH187Dialarc 250 AC/DCHypertherm PM 1250Smith, Harris, Victor O/ASmith and Thermco Gas MixersAccess to a full fab shop with CNC Plasma, Water Jet, etc.

Reply:Lincoln makes one called the Power Wave C300.  It is similar to a Miller XMT except it also has a built-in wire feeder.   Pretty neat machine, at least on paper anyways.   I've never welded with one or seen one in person.   It has constant current & constant voltage dc output, so it can do DC stick and tig as well as mig and can be used with a spool gun for mig welding aluminum too.  It has a lift arc starter for tig.  Very interesting machine.  If I didn't already have an XMT and an XR feeder, I might consider one myself. The Lincoln PowerMIG 350MP can do mig and dc stick/tig too.Power Wave C300 http://www.mylincolnelectric.com/Cat...t.aspx?p=80392PowerMIG 350MP http://www.mylincolnelectric.com/Cat...t.aspx?p=40033If you want one without the integrated wire feeder, check out the Power Wave S350.http://www.mylincolnelectric.com/Cat....aspx?p=103893If you want to try one in blue instead of red, check out the Miller XMT. http://www.millerwelds.com/products/...ocess/xmt_350/Last edited by DesertRider33; 08-23-2009 at 06:04 PM.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op

Reply:Or just weld a Precision Tig to an Invertec and use a big power strip.. City of L.A. Structural; Manual & Semi-Automatic;"Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place where gold is refined.
