When I purchased this truck, it had pick up bed on it. Bought flat bed for $100, welded new cross beams and few other repairs. Then I purchased hoist from Norther tools for $1300 and installed in a weekend. Looks weak but ive been impressed with it (3 years now). Dumped as much as 4500lbs (guess) no problem.Have 1 ton dump truck for heavier stuff. Attached Images
Reply:Those hoysts are well built, with the exception of the hinges. Putting one under a pickup bed is an invitation to disaster since the hoyst has far more avaliable force than the pickup box was designed to handle.Appreciation Gains You Recognition- |
