Crane for Pickup

Has anyone made a crane for a pickup truck.  I would like to fab one up to make loading and unloading a snowblower easier.  Figured If i saw one from you guys that would make my life easier.  Note: this is a heavy 10HP Ariens SnowBlower.  I have a 1000Lb hand winch with 40' of wire that I plan on using, I am just not sure about the Arm or how to attach it to the bed.Thanks,Mike
Reply:If you have a 1 ton, I have a combination bumper/electric crane for sale, 2000# capacity on a duley truck.One thing you definitely don't want is a crane that is secured by the pickup bed, there just isn't sufficient material there for the stress created by a crane.The ones I build are generally hydraulic arms with or without an aux winch on the arm, and mounted to the bumper.For some reason I'm having trouble posting pics to this site, so I ain't even trying to post the crane now.Appreciation Gains You Recognition-

Reply:There's a thread on here called Old Projects or something like that with a snowblower carrier that I think slides into the Reese receiver on a pickup that seems to me a lot better idea than loading a blower in and out of a truck.  You might want to check it out.Appreciation Gains You Recognition-
