Swept up in the shop the other day. was going to throw the junk away but started welding it together instead. This is what I ended up with.Don't know if this will work, first post on this forum. Nice to see so many familiar names.I'm not very clever,But I can lift heavy things.
Reply:Try again, I'm better at welding than computers Attached ImagesI'm not very clever,But I can lift heavy things.

Reply:Sorry, that is one lousy photograph. Dont know what went wrong  there. I'll try and do a better one later.I'm not very clever,But I can lift heavy things.
Reply:One, here it is lightened up some.  Hope you don't mind.  I'm saving this for future ideas.  You've got more vision for "junque" than I do.  I need the help of others inspiration  Attached Images
Reply:I agree Jim314. Onerod has given me some ideas which I also hope he doesn't mind if I keep.A friend of mine here has a brother in Texas who makes weather vanes out of "junque". You know the kind, like the man chopping wood, the duck with wings "flapping" (actually rotating). I too need some inspiration. And I thank anyone who is willing to share with me. If I come up with anything interesting I too will be glad to share. This board has been great fun and interesting education. I started welding (O/A) back when I was in 7th grade. By the time I was a junior I was helping the shop class instructor teach welding. It kind of came naturally to me. The last four or five years I have not done too much (and I miss it) because of my present job. But, I will be retiring in a couple years and plan to go back to welding and fabricating even if on a smaller scale. Thanks to all.Tony
Reply:Oops, sorry one_rod. I spelled that wrong. My humble apologies.Tony
Reply:now that what i call imagination nice work
Reply:Here's a nice easy one for anyone who wants inspiration; couple of old sprokets, bolts, a few M.I. pipe fittings.....20 mins. to weld. Attached ImagesI'm not very clever,But I can lift heavy things.
