I fabbed platforms to utilize bottle jacks to lift the car off the jackstands it will be on. I added triangular bracing under the outer (stationary) pivot tube to keep the jack in place, and 10" wheels to make it moveable. I painted it w/a roller w/ACE Lemon Drop Rust Stopper after priming w/Rustoleum - No excuses for not seeing it! Attached Images

Reply:Hay Brad-Man i got one of those u could have had stell got a 1950 ford pickup frame in it O shoot i stell got most of the truck behind my shop. I added a pull bar to mine so i could move it with my riding mower anyhoo if some one wants it its here before i cut it up for junk!!!!!!!

I've been thinking about making one of these to use in my shop, but was unsure if I "really" need one or not. Reply:The basic plans came from this site:rotisserieI substituted 1/4" 2X2 tubing where the plans called for 11 guage because I thought 1/9" was too thin... |
