I fabbed platforms to utilize bottle jacks to lift the car off the jackstands it will be on. I added triangular bracing under the outer (stationary) pivot tube to keep the jack in place, and 10" wheels to make it moveable. I painted it w/a roller w/ACE Lemon Drop Rust Stopper after priming w/Rustoleum - No excuses for not seeing it! Attached Images
Reply:Looking good, i could have used that about 15 years ago when I restored a 68 Firebird.I like that it is multi adjustable.Like the color too.Your gonna have to post some pics with a car mounted on it.There's a method to the madness, disregard the method and the madness begins!!

Reply:Very impressive Brad-Man.
Reply:Brad,Looks Good!  Have you had a chance to put a car on it yet?  How did it do?  What size box tubing did you use? I've been thinking about making one of these to use in my shop, but was unsure if I "really" need one or not.  I'm curious as to how easy it is to rotate a body on it, and if it can be done by one man. Thanks for posting the pic, and please add any follow-up you may have.Maxx Levell Racing...There Can Be Only One.
Reply:The basic plans came from this site:rotisserieI substituted 1/4" 2X2 tubing where the plans called for 11 guage because I thought 1/9" was too thin...
