Reply:A ctting board would be great for the top, but I used 1 x 6 pine Attached Images
Reply:Good job I like the idea.
Reply:Thats cutting board. One more. Attached Images
Reply:How thick is the tube? We get 60 mph gusts out here, quite often. That's quite a lever arm, but I love the idea. I think I'll make one.
Reply:Just wondering why is it attached to the truck?
Reply:The umbrela is going to break before the 1/8 inch wall. If you have a sixty mph wind, you won't need shade. You will need a coat. I got the umbrela at Walmart for $35-40.The slick thing to do would be make a hinge that folds up on the L.
Reply:Dman,If you own a truck, you don't have to bring a chair. It is way stronger than putting the umbrela in a hole in the ground or a rock, and you get a table that is strong enough to withstand drunks stumbling into it like my friends.

Reply:thumbs up great idea !!!just no drinkie if driving !!dawg
Reply:Yea Ha tailgating in the shade> where's the Bar-b-que and beer. If you just had a keg that would drop down and slid out from the spare tire carrier that would make it complete. Nice job and good idea. DavidDavid
