I need a little design help! I am building a large blast cabinet from a 300 gallon fuel oil tank. The cabinet itself is going quiet well. I need help with the pick-up tube. At the hobart message board, I got put on to tptools.com, this company in Ohio has a lot of blast and air equipment. They make a pick-up tube that looks very unique. It is a two tube welded together design. One tube is "pinched off" at the end. This is the air tube. The other tube is the actual abrasive pick up. I would guess there is a hole drilled in both tubes (or a series of holes) that are matched up on both tubes and welded together. Has anyone used one of these tubes that can tell me what type of holes this style of pick-up tube uses?If not, I guess I am just going to have to experiment. I am going to be using 1/2" E.M.T. conduit. Thanks in advance,Jonathan (IH Cub Cadet) |
