I was talking to another dad about our kids and how his son is doing great at dirt racing.  Even getting a local dealer to give him a special built bike to race with.  The rider is only 10 or 11 years old.  Anyway, to make a long story longer, he was telling me that between races, if on a race day there are several races, the bike gets pretty dirty.  He then told me he waits until he gets home and pressure washes the bikes.  I told him, why not take the pressure washer with you, being it's gas powered.  Alas, no water was the answer, so I gave him the solution.  and here is the result.  I made the base for the drum to fit over his tool box.The doors can still be used.  It's bolted to the trailer if it's not needed, for removal.  By the way, it worked perfectly for him. Reply:Pretty neat Tom did u put a check valve on it? Wont the pressure washer suck the tank in? its just my 2 cents but u mite need one.  i had to weld a patch on a 12 ft diameter water that got sucked in fron no check valve ooo it was ss,put the patch on it pushed about all the way back out,the man then put a check valve on it to suck air when draining!!
Reply:I think.....he opens the bung hole at the top when he uses it, for that very reason.
Reply:Looks good, got anymore pics of the old chevy pickup there?
Reply:Actually, the pumps on pressure washers don't have much suction, they are built to work on positive pressure from the supply.I learned that the hard way a good number of years back. That setup bears a resemblance to Lawn Nazi's watering trailer with the waterbug pump.  Hopefully this year I'll get to totally rebuilding her watering trailer so it don't involve me havin to tow it from garden to garden while she sits in her Granny Clampet seat.  Of course, that depends on me gettin some time off from the other yard work she has listed for me.Appreciation Gains You Recognition-
Reply:I know that pressure washers work on postive pressure but it can cause a vac and suck the tank in.Just my 2 cents!!
Reply:My side business is Powerwashing, and my main unit pulls 5.5 gallons of water per minute, while most washers rate somewhere between 2-3.5 gpm. I use my supply tank frequently and have never even came close to sucking the tank in. You should be able to tell the tank is dry if you start to lose pressure. And you should try not to run dry or you could damage your pump.  I will try and post a pic of my Powerwash unit. Attached Images
Reply:My washer specifies 20 psi and 5gpm supply, would this provide this?? Thanks FMK
Reply:SlagKing,I've never built a trailer, but would like too. I've hauled water on a flat trailer and this didn't seems to be a problem, but I was wondering would you need any supports in the front of the trailer to keep the tank from sliding forward during hard braking?
