i am new to plasma cutting and was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of hints, tips, suggestions...............im sure they are on this site i just cant seem to find them........i know nothing about this so the basics would be nice...........thanks in advance

Reply:A lot of guys cut too slow with plasma. You get your best cut usually moving fast, usually almost to the point that you out run the cut.X2 on the dry air..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:If your making a straight cut, tack a piece of angle iron to your work piece, and cut at a steady speed. With practice your "guided" cuts will look almost like they were cnc cut. very little kerf and slag. |
