I have to cut some 150 x 50mm aluminium hollow section

I was going to use my abrasive drop saw but read that thread about cutting aluminium sheet.I only have to make 4 cuts.C'mon, the chop saw will be fine, won't it?I'm going to get the bits anodized after they're cut.ScottYeah, I carry.House keys, wallet, some change, usually a newspaper, maybe a pen.
Reply:Clamp them to a regular miter saw with carbide blade.  You have to use a clamp!  You don't want to know what happens when a piece moves.My name's not Jim....

Reply:Flexovit in OZ do AL abrasive blades.  They clearly have AL on them.The writing is blue colour for AL.Stone blades have green writing.Steel blades have red writing.And then there is the fine cut which is a INOX/stainless bladeI thing i got most of it right.
