I recently have the option to buy 2 60's models sa-200 for $300. Neither is locked up, both are f-163's. 1 is complete and has been sitting(the it ran 6 years ago story) and 1 is missing carb, magnetio, air cleaner, and doors(parts machine). Neither have leads and neither are trailered. I have owned a couple in the past and know they are great machines. Should I chance it and buy them both for $300 bucks?
Reply:IF YOU HAVE THE BUX might be a good investmentor make a winter project
Reply:Yes if you can get them both for $300.00. Worst case you will get at least that back parting them out. jrw159
Reply:Yea, I think I will. I dont want to sell them for a profit, but I will buy them to keep them out of the scrap yard! I just sold(GAVE!) a huge SAE-300 for $1200 bucks. Oh well, With that said I'll be hooking up the trailer tonight
Reply:If you ever plan to make a trip down to South Carolina I'll take them off your hands and throw in some extra for gas. I've been trying to find one for a winter project but around here they are hard to come buy for sale at a reasonable price. |
