Rapier for a friend's wedding

So I have this buddy who is getting married Aug 6th and he wanted a Renaissance/3 musketeers theme.After looking online at swords and rapiers I decided to make one up.Here it is.The blade is a square bar 3/8 in size.  Basket is 1/8 metal rods and the handle is a piece of 1/4 rebar. Took the blade and I polished it with a grinder and I am about to grind the bottom half of the blade at a 45 degree angle to get a blade edge effect. Reply:I went with an open sheath.If you look at the full sword view, you will see that black piece of leather.  That attaches to a metal bar that has a loop on each end.  You can almost see the bottom loop from the pic.Anyways when you draw the sword it make a great shhhlingg... noise b/c the entire sword is hitting metal on the way out.BW
Reply:I am impressed with the grinding skills.  Must have taken you a while.  Can you post another picture of the full sword?  The one you have up now is a little dark.
