go kart steering problem...

hello guys im sorry to bother yall once again...i got a problem and maybe some1 could help me...im finishing a go kart and itll be powered by a 125 cc honda motor 4 strokes and 5 gears and im having 2 problems.Im using a real axle and the wheels and hubs i bought were from a trycicle :S dunno if i spelled that ok, u kno the old 3 wheel motorcicles. The axle im using is 3/4 of and inch and the hub is .90 of an inch sooo i have some space that i need to fill i will probably try to go looking for a tube that is .90 on the outside diameter and 3/4 on the inside, so i can weld it to the axle and to the hub too. Is this desition the best? or should i use weld a screw on the axle and screw the wheel assembly to the screw? (where the screw would fit very tight on the hub so it wont slip) the other problem i have is on the steering on the kart. Ill buy another 2 wheels and hubs from the same size i guess, and ill be using the same steering system that appears on this page http://www.barstoolracing.net/images/BS17Prints.gifnow my problem is again in the hub       on the page they use a screw welded onto a tube. And the hub goes into the screw and then it attached by using its nut, the wheel should then be free or with very little friction ... nowwwww since i have a .90 inch hub, should i get a .89 (example) screw so the hub wont be very loose and jumping? is there a way of having some bearings on this type of steering so the wheel wont be loose? i think actually that this steering design is kinda stupid. Can anyone help me? itll be very appreciated, ohh and btw all the total weight of the go kart will be about 100 kgs so i think that the suggestions should take this into account, Thank u all guys!

Reply:itll be for a real go kart, im using trycicle wheels 20" total diameter,  9" 2 piece rims, but im scared that i could mess the hubs couse they are 50 bucks, each :S lol but i guess thats it thank u bro...any other thoughts?
