I saw a post a while back in which someone showed a grappler for a front end loader and can't find it again. Does anyone know of a source for plans for one of these, or perhaps just the thickness of metal that should be used in one for a tractor of 65 to 90 horsepower?I need something to clean pecan limbs out of groves other than my back and this appears to be a great tool for that. Also, does anyone know of a source for plans for a front loader or the thickness metal necessary to build one for tractors the same horsepower as above?I would appreciate any input anyone has.
Reply:You may be able to find the information at http://machinebuilders.net/wwforum/default.aspNeil
Reply:I'd like to build a grappler for my Bcat also.I have the vol II & III of arc weldsing projects and in Vol III, there's a plan to build a custom front end loader for a tractor. ITs Pub by the James F. Lincoln Wedling foundation. Also, search for attachments for skidsteers and youll see some grapples. BR. |
