I'm a plumber by day & welder by night. People tell me that I should be a full time welder and maybe one day I will. Here are a few of the projects I have done. Attached Images
Reply:well first id like to say im sorry about your day job..... j/k nice job on those rails
Reply:did you bend the pipe for the railings?(if so there are roll cages in your future )nice work ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Yes, I do bend my own pipe. I do all of it from scratch. Thanks for the positive feedback!
Reply:fine job!!!
Reply:I have to say that if you can do good work like that and it's not your trade you must be one heck of a plumber! I know guys in my area that are " professionals " in the field of pipe railing and there work is only half so good as yours. Keep your chin up.That's very fine work there. Reply:Very nice work, arcwild. Can you tell us your technique for getting those nice, tight radius bends?Looks like a public space. I hope they appreciate the quality they got.awright
Reply:My guess would be premanufactured 90s and 45s. That's what I use anyway. I have benders for scrolls and for square tubing, but so far have no need for one for round tubing/pipe except for my electrical conduit needs. Some do indeed bend all the fence pipe, though.
Reply:I have a homemade jig that i use !!! It and a rose bud . Thinks i never use pre. made 90s are 45s . |
