Reply:I am so excited for my new tools.  I think it is $700 well spent and will get a bigger return on my investment.  any ways here is what I got. Craftsman dual adjustment mig welder (welds 3/16), hf chopsaw (more expensive one), hf hammer drill, HF benchtop drill press, chop saw blades, grinding wheels for my Dewalt grinder, 3lb sledge, 14 peice punch and chisle set, arrow magnets, 249 piece rotory tool bit set.  Cant wait to start using this stuff on a consistand basis.

Reply:Nice Xmas present to yourself!  Didn't I see where you were going out on your own doing some fence work?  It looks like you got a good start on the basics and if you do quality work you should be able to parlay the profit from these tools into more and bigger equipment to expand your future project capabilities.  Keep us posted on some of the jobs you pick up.Capitalism in ACTION. Reply:Unfortunately I live in a duplex with no garage so anytime I want to use this stuff I have to tka eit outside and then set it up and tear it all back down when I am done!  Oh well better than living in an appartment and hiving to take it all out to the parking lot or something.  The drill perss works great it was the $69.99 drill press from HF and I got it on sale for $39.99  I think its still on sale till the 26th so jump on it!  I just need a good set of Cobalt drill bits now!  Yeah the Dog gets a bit jealous when we pay more attention to something other than him.  he is a great dog though.
