So im just wondering about gettin a job in the near future, and im currently in school going for my associates in applied science (welding) and i have not finished the degree yet, mostly missing the academics for the degree tho. so ive done mig fillet in all postions. tig fillet all postions. stick fillet and full penitration in all postions. passed my plate test on plate and doing stick pipe 1,2,5,6 g this semester. I have done a lil FC and spray arc but not a whole lot. i plan to finish up when i go to TX. But for now, like i said my question is would i be looking at any jobs chances with what i have now?All postions being flat,horizontal,vertical, horizontal overhead, direct overhead

Reply:good way to get your foot in the door at most companies, you can prove you can weld all position at least somewhat, are certifiable and reliable.I'm actually looking for a TIG welder like that, fresh out of an A.A degree. We need someone very soon though.
Reply:Thanks for the help. And yea my main thing is just not doing some of the welds in a while. ive done all the things i said very well, but its not like i have a lot of experience so it take a few times to get it back down in the grove ya know
