Thought I would post up a pic of a little jig I made up for plasma cutting bird mouth notches in square tube. Here is another view.Just some simple jigs to make my life easier. I also use the back side for cutting angles that my saw can't make."If you live in Sacramento you have seen my work."
Reply:Cool! Now lets see it in action.. ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Ok most of my pics did not come out, if I get time I will take some more this weekend. Here are a couple.First let us say I need a 60 degree notch on 2" square. I take out my handy dandy speed square and scribe a line at 60 degrees. For the sake of argument I will be welding to another 2" square. So my notch needs to be 1-7/8" deep because I want the tube to land on the radius. Then I know my drag cup is 1/4" away from the cut line, so I scribe that off.Now all I have to do is drag my cup along the jig."If you live in Sacramento you have seen my work."
