Hey! Anyone ever build a grill from a butane tank? I have one I want to make a pit/smoker from. Let's see some pictures of your grill/smokers you made! Need ideas and suggestions before I cut this tank.
Reply:I've built a few out of propane tanks. I am just finishing one right now. I will try and take some pics this evening.

Reply:It looks great but if the left side tires flattening out a bit is any indication of the weight this bad boy is heavy. 1000 years from now when another species is having an archaeological dig on earth they are going to uncover this and hopefully fire it up.Michael
Reply:I'm not sure how much it weighs but it is not too heavy to push around. THe tires look flat because In order to level so the grease drains out of the bottom I adjust the air pressure in tires to get it close. You are not gonna carry this thing on your shoulder, however I can roll it onto a 5x10 utility trailer by myself.
