So I have a newer style synchrowave 200 and a off-brand WP20 style tig torchThe connections on the torch look just like this:It also has a block to attach the main hose to a lug bolt type connection the guy at my LWC says there should be a place to attach this block at the bottem of my welder underneath a panel, but I cant see what he is talking about unless he means the panel that the DINSE style connectors protrude through. Even if I want to take this panel off I would have to remove the existing connectors and find a torx security tool to get the bolts off, I really don't want to mess with it. Furthermore on the welder it looks like the gas goes through the single tig torch connector. When the LWC showed me the adapter they have, it did not have a hole in the center of the DINSE head for the gas to flow throughcan anyone offer any advise on how to hook up this torch? also how can I know the difference between the water feed/return and gas hoses? they all appear to be the same size?
Reply:The water and gas connectors have different threads. You'll know when you go to screw them in. I don't own a Syncrowave 200 so can't help you on the connection.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op |
