son is home  from  university..is makin gsome  bird  houses..needs  poles..found some old green plastic covered galvinized fence posts..welded some  3/16 rusty plate to them..here is  a photo of  3/32 7018 stick  in the  flat position...actually welded quite nice for  galv. Attached Images

Reply:Dad had one of those for years, and it's the machine I learned to weld on.  I loved that old Lincoln! I am still trying to buy it back from the guy who dad sold it too. Nice pics ~JacksonI'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:We had one of those where I worked.  I used to leave it on AC or DC- so the other guys would have a hard time with it.  Nice machine.DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
