I am just getting into oxy acetylene. Took a course at the local tech school. Bought some used equipment. Bought a Smith Lifetime MW 5 handle with MC 509 torch tip. Would it be a good idea to buy flashback arresters for this? Does any other manufacturer sell good tips for this handle? Thanks for your help!
Reply:A good set of flash arrestors for the torch is recommended.Your torch has a LIFETIME warranty, however, you can void your LIFETIME waranty by using aftermarket tips.
