Thats the question of the day..Anyhoo..My buddy Marc with the F-7 Firecat noticed antifreeze underneeth it when he went to put it away for the summer last week..I recall him last winter saying he could smell antifreeze every once in awhile..So here is what he found..It is a "Y" for the coolant to go to the throttle body..(His sled is E.F.I.)As we can see its not in good shape.. He said it goes like that but add 1" to the short end..Heres my "print" and the stainless to play with..No we did not have any tubing so I had to drill these out.. Now we mark where the opening goes with a marker..Put it in a vice and grind the wall away in the marked off area..And continue next post.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Welcome back..Ok now where the opening is...that makes a nice bend it point..So with the help of a 7/16" box wrench and the vice...Looks good to me..Oh darn..the other one is too short now.. Back to the lathe..Heres the longer one after the belt sander treatment..Now thats much better..As we move on to the next post..Yeah Yeah I'm allmost done... ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Welcome back X2..As you guys with the sharp eyes will notice..I'm too lazy to change the torch over to small stuff so a sharp tungestion is all I'm doing..Here it is.. all done..I think this is much better than plastic...See you out on the trails next winter!! ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:So who does all the REAL work while you take pictures all day?J/K. Zap, these pictures and threads are great. Thanks for always making sure you share your work with us. Most of us don't get to do all the fun exotic and different stuff everyday like you.
Reply:Fused, no filler there, right zap? What, no porting and polishing job on the inside of the tube after the welding? just kidding.Did you back-purge the stainless for the welds or just go at it with the torch? I don't know how badly the back side would 'sugar' if you didn't back-purge, or if it would be any problem for the intended usage or not. Probably not.And did you run out of napkins to draw your print on? j/k again.Custom stainless coolant fitting and helping out a bud - priceless.
