Last night is probably the 6th time using my Harbor Freight TIG. I welded in the small 1/4" NPT bungs into the side of the tank:the 5th time I used is was to cover the hole in the top of the tank left by the original filler neck. The 4th time I used the TIG is when I welded on the fuel valve bung. This was kind of tricky welding thick steel fitting onto 16 ot 18 gage sheetmetal (or whatever this thin stuff is...), so It looks a little sloppy. THe 1/4" bungs above came out nicer.I know, it needs work. It always needs work. But I feel as though I'm getting the hang of TIG quicker than I did MIG...
Reply:Way to go!Looks like you could lose 30 amps or so on the thin stuff....But you get an A from me..Little less heat..a little slower.. ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
