My new Intake finally almost completed... i used 3.5 aluminum so i could utilize the 3.5 maf ive had lying around here...an i integrated it right into the tube..with out using big ugly couplings....i will use this to hook up my Maf translator to control fuel an timing...old intake...Last edited by Krypto; 06-13-2007 at 11:07 PM.

Reply:nice welds and slick move with the MAF. you should consider adding a velocity stack, i've seen good things.with full intent and better sense to recognize what is false and part with it.

Reply:not that i'm an expert, or really know much about this, but what happens if you have to replace the MAF??
Reply:The Maf body splits..an the plastic sensor comes out...which is how i welded it..because it would have melted the o-rings an sensor..no back purge..Ive built a complete turbo setup in my head..but doing so would require some money..an on the other hand the 3800 tannys are just fragile..atleast for my wallet... i just wanna make some decent power on grandpas Buick Riviera...as a sleeper.. its a series 2 SC with the lil M90 blower...runs about 10lbs of boost with the pulley...i just need some timing an fuel control for right now.
