How far with a 10 guage cord?

I have to do some welding on the far side of the house on a trailer. I am wondering how far can i go with the 10 guage extension cord before I start to see asignifcant voltage drop.   Thanks
Reply:Using this calculatorhttp://www.nooutage.com/vdrop.htmIt shows a 10% voltage  drop at 30 amps for 200' of 10ga stranded circuit (includes both "to" and "from" wires - ie. as in an extension cord) at 86F temperature in the open air (wire is not in a conduit). As I understsand it 10% drop should be OK w/most machines; but you should check you manual for exact requirements.Rufus

Reply:its a lincoln 225 ac/dc, 220 coming out. Welding will take place around 85 amps DC. Its going to be welding brackets onto a travel trailer to mount stabilizer jacks to.
