Reply:...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Nice.  I never have 7018 peel that way, only dual-shield.  Is that normal for you?
Reply:It is all in the prep, that was new steel that I beveled with a grinder. No mill scale, and no oil, dirt, or other crud. I also keep my 7018 in an oven when the humidity is up. The day I did this job it was 90 at 8 am ant the humidity was brutal.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:Nice job.  I can only get slag to peel like that with 7018 is on the second or more pass.DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
