I was just wondering how they compare with TIG welds.ThanksIdeas Without Action are Folly
Reply:This is a pulsed MIG weld using a Miller 350P, source: Millerwelds.comJohn - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:Spool gun; don't recall the settings.
Reply:All of the Aluminum MiG welds I've done with my 3035, look just like any other MiG weld - only Aluminum instead of steel. They don't look anything like a TiG weld.
Reply:You can set a pulsed MIG weld to look very much like a TIG weld with some fiddling, however, the ripples look less defined or stacked. I wish I had pics of some of the stuff I did two years ago. Made me never want to run non pulsed spray aluminum ever again. |
