Building a hay trailer for a customer.  As simple as it looks. This things has been trying my patience as far as getting everything square, and level.  Ya know some days it looks like things just fall in place, and days like today fight you on every part you tack up...   Well here are some pics.  I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:a few more....   The front end looks a bit crazy but it will make more sense when the front axle and tongue are in place.  It'll have a narrow set of wheels in front similar to the old tricycle front end tractors.  Should have it all tacked up tomorrow, and I'll get some pics of the welds.   Been using my powermig 255 with .035 solid wire running anywhere from 21.3 Volts @ 360 wire speed to 27.5 Volts @500 wire speed.  I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:Nice work Jackson...never seen a trailer like that, should be interesting.Anything worth doing is worth doing RIGHT
Reply:That's an interesting design.  Can't wait to see it finished.
Reply:Ha! Got me puzzled for sure..
Reply:lol,  Just keep watching, and it will turn into something in a day or two.  This trailer design is used pretty commonly by some of the Cattle feeder and hay equipment manufacturers.  It will hold six large round bales when finished.  I'm told they will weigh about a ton a bale.  ~JacksonI'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......

Reply:If a person was brave they could stack another single row for 19 bales.  The stack mover I used to run when I was at the ranch was a chain bed.  Tilt the bed, engage the PTO and back under your bales or hay stacks.  Loaded weight was 15 to 18,000 LBS of hay.
Reply:Here's a few more pics.  I haven't been able to get alot done for making repairs today. Should easily finish it up tomorrow.Finish sliding in the other tubestubes tacked in place and pivot tube welded on front end.Front axle assembly built and installed.Front wheels installed.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
