At first they wanted the bore welded up..Then they went ahead and sleeved it..113" long so the positioner could not be used..The footpedal cord just 'aint that long... Tube..(Steel insert)Weld..Done "sideways"..There are 6 stops and starts..Can you find them?(The tie off is obvious)..I get all the fun jobs.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:One of the start stops is about 6-7 beads above the dime. Other than that, I have a question: When you weld onto something that is a sleeve, but not necessarily press fit, do you have to worry about the weld failing under stress? It looks as though you only get to weld on one side, and when the parts are large like that, the load has to be tremendous on some of them. Any other things to keep it together, like keyways and such??And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.
