Reply:I had that happen to me.  It was a 58 GMC wrecker.  1 ton truck with that GMC V6 in it.  The clutch chattered like you wouldn't believe.  One day I took off from a light and the U bolts all snapped.  There I sat.  Drive shaft came apart, rear end was still under the truck, but I was helpless.  Had to call a wrecker for the wrecker.  Never forget it.DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
