Something diffrent to repair today..Prop housing casting..Hole in the end..Pieces missing from the rudder...Patch pieces..1/8" 6061 plateThe slice up the middle will let me bend this around the housing once it's tacked in place..Here is the hole patched up..Note where the slice was..Next post!...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:The housing has to hold oil..So here's how we make sure there is no leaking..Simply fill the end with acetone..If it dont leak acetone it won't leak oil..Patch around the drain plug..Rudder repaired..150 amps or so..3/32 Red End Sharp!1/16 5356 filler..Gas lens because I was too lazy to change cups and colletts..I get all the fun jobs......zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Oil to fill the propeller = $20 bucksSlices of 6061 Aluminum = $5 BucksNew prop casing = $200 bucksGetting Zap to fix it = worthless! My Babies: HF Drill pressHF Pipe Bender3   4.5" Black and Decker angle grindersLincoln Electric PROMIG 175that´s it!
Reply:Tens of thousands of outboards in Minnesota and hundreds of millions of rocks adds up to a bunch of skegs to partially replace and lower housings to weld. If the rocks dont getum then the freezing in the winter does if the seals leaked and they filled with water.
