Hellooooo, I was curious about all these different routes that I can choose.  I was trying to read it instead of posting another "what should I get" thread, but there was a LOT to read haha.I have been doing oxygen/acetylene welding for a long time, and wanted to start doing some wire feed or tig stuff now.  I have a big wrought iron fence that I wanted to weld a latch onto, and some bolts to put a nice cover on it.  I didn't know exactly how many amps I would need, if wire feed would be better vs tig, if gas or no gas would be better and all the normal questions I guess.  I would also like to be able to weld stainless steel if that's possible with one or the other.  I have pretty much only done any welding with copper since I am an hvac tech.  But I want to be able to weld with a wide variety of metals, and would just like some help in choosing the right welder.I would really appreciate help with this and would gladly trade advice if you're having problem with your heat a/c or a refrigerator at the house for the wrought iron i have 110 or 230, but for the stainless steel that would be more likely at a restaurant or in some kitchen that I work for doing refrigeration work and most likely 110 would be better, and no gas.  But all the input is appreciatedThanks in advance,Corey.
