Reply:Hye Uma we need to hook up and smash some flyers together. Do you hunt the Colorado? I've hunted it at blyth before. Ive also been to the salton sea a couple of times.
Reply:I'd skip cutting a water heater tank. Not only will you have the insulation jacket to deal with, but you'll also have the inner tank lining of glass or epoxy or plastic to deal with.I'd say to just get a large metal can/tank/barrel and then use that. How about a plain old metal trash can? Galvanized metal, stick it on an outdoor cooker (turkey fryer, whatever) for heat, and go at it. Want insulation? Wrap some plain fiberglass insulation around it. Careful if you have the insulation and use a burner to heat the water, don't light the insulation on fire.

Reply:if you wanna try it, i bet a skill-saw would cut straighter than a sawzall... especially withmy sawzall abilities . a sawzall will probabyl be faster tho... got any kids? in order to get them outta the house tomorrow while you're watching the games and the misses is cooking, give 'em each 5 bucks and a hacksaw. hehehehehe. that should keep 'em busy for a while. later,Andy

Reply:I have cut a water tank apart before. It isn't much fun. The glass liner can be a pain in the butt. I would just think about going to wal-mart and pick up a cheap container the size you need.Miller DVI2Lincoln Precision Tig 225Thermodynamics Cutmaster 38Everything else needed. |
