Work Platform

I made a nice OSHA un-approved work/material platform today. 40"X48" starndard pallet size. The base is 2"x2"X1/8" tubing topped with 3/4"X9 mesh, and the sides are 1"X1"X14ga. tubing. Reply:Is that for a Lull?(sp)...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:It is for a regular little dinky 3000 pound electric fork truck for a carpet guy. He is re- doing section 8 appts. and dosent want to have to carry all the trash down the stairs.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."

Reply:Do the forks come in under it so the open railing faces out?  If so, how come there are no crossmembers to go under the forks?  I've also seen them with a short piece of chain welded to the hand rail to secure the platform to the mast.  Just looks a little unstable to me is all, I like to know my work platform isn't going anywhere since I've worked out of them a time or two.

Reply:Sorry to jack...but....Those little lifts are SCARY AS HE%#...used one in a baptist church to get to the roof about 40 feet thru an inside hatch....like being on a postage stamp attached to a popsicle stick...my idiot partner rode it up after me.....and you couldnt control this one from the ground.....450lbs of 2 guys in a one man lift.......Sorry, had to share.....Oh and...section 8......I'd just whip the crap out the window....looks good though!!!Miller blue star 2eLincoln 175

Reply:Hey Tozzi....question, it looks like in one of the pics that you are using your miller to run your wirefeeder......it looks to me as if you are not using the miller generator for AC power, but running thru the remote output to the hobart mig....Is this true, or are my eyes going worse??If so, howd you do it??Miller blue star 2eLincoln 175
Reply:The suitcase is a VS(voltage sensing) just like an LN-25. Power cable from the Trailblazer(set on 19V CV) to the suit case, vs lead from the case to the grounded work. The feeder is powered across the arc.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
