Reply:Scrapster - the best advice I can give you is be yourself. Telling stories and making up stuff just to impress people isn't worth the hassle. If people don't like you for what your are, then they aren't worth knowing.John -  fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!-  bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:Scrapster, John gave you very sound advice. Let the past alone now and move on.City of L.A. Iron is taken from the earth, and copper is smelted from ore."Job 28:1,2Lincoln, Miller, Victor & ISV BibleDanny
Reply:You have much to learn Young One.....I would suggest that you assess your recent actions on this website, and use them to outline what "Not To Do" while on sites like this.  Story telling, over-reacting, and childish immaturity will not gain you acceptance and respect on here.  We were all young once, so don't be too hard on yourself.  Relax, take a deep breath, and maybe start out by telling us what forms of welding you have experience with, and maybe post photos of some of your welds so we can help guide you. I am sure that most members on here will be more than willing to anwer your questions, but do us, AND yourself a favour, and pick up a book first.....Read up on the various welding processes so you have a working understanding of the procedures, then formulate intelligent questions so we can help you fill in the blanks.Deal?Later,Jason

Reply:we are faced with two choices Alan:1) We can council this young one about internet etiquette, then encourage him to research & learn about the welding trade, and maybe find something positive & creative to channel his excess energy into.....OR2) We can act like a bunch of immature fools ourselves, and drive this young fellow out of here, so he is free to get himself into all kinds of mischief and trouble.I submit and suggest that as the supposed "Responsible Adults" we choose the former.  I am not pleased with his shennanigans either, but we were all young & foolish once, and we all made mistakes.Later,Jason
Reply:I hope he will grow up and let us give him some knowledge, he can use in the future, as I have done for a lot of years.  John G.SMAW,GMAW,FCAW,GTAW,SAW,PAC/PAW/OFCand Shielding Gases.  There all here. :
