I bought a used Econotig and had an electrician tapped off my 220V AC window unit. This line tie to a two 40 amps circuit breakers for a total of 80 amps. When I started to weld Aluminum and went all out on the pedal, I kept tripping the circuit breaker. So the question is this: If the welding machine is rate for 165Amps, do you put it on a 165amps circuit breaker?
