This time it's Aluminum!!Roller in the positioner..This is where the bearing was spinning and banging everything out of shape..And it's pretty dirty too..What do we do with dirty Aluminum?Acetone and a stainless brush..All clean now..And all welded back up..180 amps..Gas mix..3/32" Red End..1/16"4043 filler..45 mins..It will be machined tomorrow..Got lots of welding to do today..I get all the fun jobs.. ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:You're not kidding about the fun jobs.. that looked like a royal pain in the ***. How long did that take? Looks great!!
Reply:very nice!
Reply:Nice job. I like your end roller device, I'm going to have to remember that one. Is 3/32" filler to big to use? It would seem you would have to really shove that 1/16" in at high rate to get that much build up. You seem like you get quite a bit of those shaft jobs. What kind of uses are they for?
Reply:Why did you pick a weave over running stringers? --Gol'
