??? On TA-185 ScottV and all

I'm looking into a TA 185 but not sure it will be the best for me since i live in the caribean and elctricity is bad. We have dayly black-out's and i'm afraid that this unit might not survive these interuptions.       On the other hand i have stable power (no voltage drop)when there is power since i have my own transformator.            My question is should i get a transformer base unit (Lincoln PRO-185 or that TA 185 will survive these sudent black-out" Fredo
Reply:Fredo,I don't like the sound of that one.I still would buy a Thermal 185 because it has a three year warranty. It would give you time to figure out if you had a problem.E-mail Thermal-arc and see what they say on the matter.
