clarke welders yes no?
Reply:nope .........go with something that your local weldingsupply store carries.....so you can get parts for it be it lincoln miller or esab
Reply:What are you going to weld? How much welding are you going to do? Do you have 220V available where you will be welding?Clarke machines are low-end, but functional for light repairs, etc. If you plan to begin doing some hobby welding, like building go-karts or making ornamental iron work, you'll want a higher-end machine from good manufacturer. Hobart machines are very good for this. If you want to get into trailers, 1/4" and thicker steels, and aluminum, look at Miller, ESAB and Lincoln.Hank
Reply:I've had mine now for about 6 years without any problems. 120v wirefeed. Duty cycle is kinda low, but it was cheap! It has been used at least once a week since purchase. Like others have said, if it broke, i have no idea where to get parts. |
