The pressure regulator on my compressor went Tango Uniform. I have a couple of spare Victor inert gas regulators laying around. Any reason that they wouldn't work for compressed air. Th only issue I see other than proper fittings might be volume.HTP 2400, HTP 131 TIG, O/A and a ton of fab and mechanics tools.
Reply:As long as gauge pressure is higher than the max pressure on the compressor it will work.OAdoctorwww.regulatortorchrepair.com
Reply:I use an old oxygen regulator for painting (30psi). My wife bought it at a garage sale for a few bucks. I was scared to use it on high pressure oxygen not knowing what kinds of oil or other junk might be inside. This one wouldn't be usable for general air use since it only goes up to 50psi or so. Not enough to get any power from your air tools. The bottle-side gauge isn't really useful since it goes up to the 1000's and my air line is only 125psi.Dynasty200DX w/coolmate1MM210MM VintageESAB miniarc161ltsLincoln AC225Victor O/A, Smith AW1ACutmaster 81IR 2475N7.5FPRage3Jancy USA1019" SBAEAD-200LE
Reply:These are the spare gauges I have. I can either plug the high pressure side or just leave it there. I know that the high side will generally be 135#. I have 3 of these and am using one for tire filling from a nitrogen bottle. Attached ImagesHTP 2400, HTP 131 TIG, O/A and a ton of fab and mechanics tools.
Reply:Those are better than the one I have. You'll be able to get full range of pressure from 0 to 135. Nice. Looks like you can put a socket on the end of the CGA-XXX (can't remember) fitting and unscrew it. I screwed in a milton style quick connects on mine.Dynasty200DX w/coolmate1MM210MM VintageESAB miniarc161ltsLincoln AC225Victor O/A, Smith AW1ACutmaster 81IR 2475N7.5FPRage3Jancy USA1019" SBAEAD-200LE |
