I have a couple of pretty good generators that I use around our place for general maintenance work, and I need help figuring out how to install an auto idler on them. One machine is a bare bones brigg and stratton 10 hp putting out about 5200 watts. The other is 15 hp with electric start putting out about 8000 watts. Both machines have single cylinder engines with throttles locked in to full open. I can slow them down by pushing back on the governor rods when I shut down after all load is turned off. I just hate hearing them run full tilt in between duty cycles. thanks for any help you guys can come up with. Best, Ralph: |
