daughters goin to college so i comindeered her old gocart.ive always wanted to put a motorcycle engine on it.only problem...no motorcycle engine,im looking for a yx 250 engine or something like that ,the gocart is pretty stout i think it would handle that motor,im looking to be able to do a burnout or maybe pop a wheelie so anyone know where i could get a motor???
Reply:I dont know if he has a web site but in Camp Hill Alabama there is a place called Willie's Cycles. He has all kind of motorcycle parts and I think he ships all over the place. You should be able to find the number using 411 if nothing else.
Reply:Also a place in Dothan, AL Cycle Salvage, I've gotten a four wheeler motor from them before that was reasonable.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:You're in the Central Texas area as I remember, right? Try calling Anderson's Auto Salvage in Troy. They're listed in the phone book. They may not have the motor you're looking for, but they can probably get one. It might take a few days, and a little minor repair, but they can usually get just about anything you need, in running condition.Contact me for any metal polishing needs you may have, my avatar is a pic of a standard, painted fire axe that I ground, sanded polished and buffed to a mirror finish. |
