Simple step rails

These are some simple step rails done on a limited budget but wanted a little more than plain rails. Square tube, flat bar and cast iron. One hundred percent mig. As you can probably surmise the fleur-de-lis is very popular down here. The rings are cast iron and will not be used again. Rolled steel tube works much better. The wood railing across the front of the porch (installed while I was building the rails) was already disintegrating. Cheap illegal labor and fly by night contractors abound. I have pretty much quit the ornamental iron due to the guest workers. I can't compete with them unless I build the same junk they do and I refuse to do that. They are actually taking the orders, having it built south of the border and hauling it in to be installed. Attached ImagesThe difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship.
