I know I read a post here or over there, when a fellow chimed in on a Chromoly tube thread. He said he did or does the welding for all JF's cages. It might have been another member that outed him, I can't remember it was about 5-6 months ago. I have done a ton of research on the tube and the welding process the correct way. BUTT I'd rather hear the specifics right from him. As its hard to find a fabricator with his amount of 1st hand testing, experience and knowledge of the NHRA inspections and required test data concerning tube cages and chassis/suspension components. Reply:I know the guy who was their machinist for several years. He still makes a few rockers and stuff like that for JF Racing. But not the welder. And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.
Reply:The only fellow on the forums that I am aware of that works on John Force's cars specifically is Bob (fuelcarbuilder) over on the Miller site.Hope that helps.Later,Jason
Reply:Bob's been with Murf for quite a while. Like Jason said, he's occasionally spotted at the Miller board.Anything worth doing is worth doing RIGHT |
