This was hand drawn and cut freehand. The rays are flat strap. It's been hanging on the fence for at least 10 years now. That's a 5 foot fence. Attached ImagesThe difference between art and craft is the quality of the workmanship. I am an artist.
Reply:nice work
Reply:Looks like I need to repaint it. The high altitude with intense sunlight about 320 days a year take a toll on paint. It is painted with hi- temp BBQ grill paint and a couple of years is about it on a paint job.
Reply:you could powder coat it, lots of work but it comes out nice.
Reply:Nice work...I like the steel art stuff...I do a bit myself with scrap pcsGears
Reply:I would have to haul it 90 miles to get it powder coated. It faces west so it gets all that 100-110 degree heat in the summer. I'll check to see how powder coat will stand up to that and may do it. It would be nice to do the wolf and the hill he's standing on in color.
