Do not use a hand line!!!!!  The safest and prettiest cage will come from good fits, you have to remember the car might take a hit and you need to survive that hit to race again.....Now by trying to weld it with a hand line you will (A)put more heat on the tubes than needed (B)beat the pipes to death trying to get the flux off. The roll cage does not make the car go any faster,  it's there to save your life. I hope this helps
