i just bought a victor welding set off ebay. the oxy regulator is not working right any one know whats wrong here is what its doing. turn on gas with the regulator turned all the way out and the gas on the low side rises till it goes past 200 the blows out the check valve. goes down a lil bit then repeats. the high side does not go up at all. any ideas what the problem is or how to fix?
Reply:I have seen this very thing...you can take it to your local welding supply and they can have it rebuilt for about $45 if all the screws come out, and don't have to be drilled and tapped.
