Learned tig technique, I feel stupid

All these years tig welding aluminum i found out something that really helped me out a lot. I have always used the conventional collet and colllet holder while welding. Took some advice and used a gas lens instead of the collet holder. Man what a difference. It was so much better. It made my lap welds flow like I have always wished they would. The sad thing is I had some gas lens in my tool box since I bought the machine and have never stopped long enough to try them or even ask was it worth trying them.
