A while back I had a Labrador that thought my shop (and Jeep) belonged to her.  We had a lot of good times in the shop, and my banging around didn't bother her a bit.I put up a little gate to keep her out when I was welding, but I don't know if I needed to bother.  Every time I looked she was laying in the back in the Jeep and not paying one bit of attention to the bright light.  Nevertheless, I usually kept her out when I was welding. After she died I took out the gate, but the latch stayed.  I found it very handy if I was going to string an extension cord out into the yard.  If I just plug the cord in, I usually got to take a trip back to the plug to re-insert the cord.  The old gate latch makes a quick and effective strain relief.  So far the plug hasn't been pulled loose since I noticed how well the cord fits the latch.John Attached Images
Reply:That's clever.. Thanks.
Reply:That was a very touching story about a gate latch.  Thank you.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
